lyrics
And where will you stand tonight?
As the night wind blows.
After 100 years of mechanised slaughter:
Twice of those satanic mills.
As life became a jailhouse,
And the whole Earth a grave.
Do you fear the fires rising?
Do you feel Death traverse this land?
Awaiting that final awful moment:
The last great extinction.
A new Epoch is here,
And our mother cries.
The fog that has fallen and must be lifted,
A fog of mans own making.
The fog or war,
The fog of oil:
This infernal state of error.
And where will you stand?
For man is the world of man,
And action is the life of all:
And only that will burn away this horror.
You know that point where you have consumed perhaps just a little too much of your chosen intoxicate. That's this album.
Fucking heavy!!! Obstacle of Affliction
Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74
The debut full-length from Kenoma is full of spacious, haunting songs that steadily build to great rushes of sound. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 29, 2017
A ferocious display of blackened stoner-doom from Moscow's Moanhand, who offsets moments of bleak ugliness with clean, haunting melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 23, 2021
Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
